Individual Build Volunteers

Come join us on a build site! Become a regular volunteer or periodically join us when you have time. Whether you have skills or are looking to learn some new ones, if you are looking for volunteer ideas, you are welcome to join us throughout the year. We build Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Youth 16 and older are welcome on the construction site if accompanied by an adult (over 21) and can be involved in a wide array of activities other than those involving power tools.

How you help Volunteers are the foundation of our organization. It is through the generous donation of your time and talent that we are able to build safe, decent and affordable homes for hard-working, qualified families throughout the Merrimack Valley.
About us Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit builder of affordable homes founded in 1985 by concerned local citizens who came together as volunteers. We are the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest non-profit homebuilder in the world with a network of over 2,100 affiliates. We build simple, affordable, comfortable homes in partnership with the families who need them. Habitat families get a hand up, not a hand out. They buy their homes from Merrimack Valley Habitat after they provide between 240 and 360 of “sweat equity hours” to build their own home and other families’ homes.
