Ways to help

Classroom Mentorship

Boston Scores' One Hen program teaches students how to create and run real-life small businesses through a micro-loan. With the profits, they repay their loans and support a local charity of their choice. Volunteers join our students in the classroom to help the students plan and/or execute their business through the different phases including choosing a business, branding themselves, marketing, selling their product, and managing their money.

Our traditional projects include soccer skills stations, nutrition or academic relay races, and can also include field and school clean ups, landscape projects, and more. Field Days come with a donation and we will work with our corporate partners to determine what donation is best for them.

How you help We’re always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who want to become a partner in our mission to inspire students to lead healthy lives, be engaged students, and have the confidence and character to make a difference in the world.
About us Boston Scores partners with the Boston Public School teachers, our coach-mentors, to provide urban youth in grades K-12 with after-school soccer & enrichment programs. Students typically participate 5 days per week, including 2 days of girls & boys soccer practices, 2 days of enrichment classes (poetry or civic leadership) & a soccer game day in which teams are transported to play other BPS schools. When students enter high school, our enrichment programs add in college & job readiness workshops.
