Helping Clients with Telehealth
This past week has brought new challenges to so many. Our staff has quickly and creatively moved to Telehealth to support their clients, while others have remained as the stable forces behind our residential programs.
Many of our clinicians have been creatively engaging their clients via telehealth with some reading books to their clients, engaging in play therapy, and leading clients in stress relief and self-care activities. Our residential staff has worked to bring a sense of calm while also implementing more stringent screening and sanitizing protocols. It’s fitting that it’s National Social Work Month, a time when we honor the hard work and dedication of these individuals every day. Their value and dedication are even more evident in the face of this crisis. We’d like to take this moment to say thank you to our staff for all that they do. They are the heart and soul of The Home.
